  • Helpfully eats algae from the sides of your pond, contributing to a clean and healthy ecosystem. They’ll also eat dead plant matter and even dead fish
  • Need very little care – they’ll feed on naturally ocurring matter in your pond
  • You’ll see a lot of your Ramshorn snails – they live around the edges of the pond and can swim on the surface of the water
  • We recommend introducing 5 snails per square metre of pond
  • A very hardy species which can adapt to even poor water conditions
  • Pulmonate (lung breathing) snails which are hermaphrodite and reproduce asexually
