This patio-trained plant grows to just one-and-a-half metres (or so) in height, making it perfect for patios, balconies and terraces.
The distinctive, fan-shaped leaves start out a rich light green colour, before becoming golden yellow towards the back end of the year.
Did you know that ginkgo trees (also known as maidenhair trees) are old, like seriously old? In fact, ginkgo fossils have been found dating back a whopping 170 million years!
