One of the most impressive crabapple varieties out there, ‘Comtesse de Paris’ dazzles with its linen white blossoms, lush green foliage and graceful spreading habit.
Growing to roughly four metres (or so) in height, this fully hardy, easygoing, disease resistant tree is an excellent option for medium-sized gardens and orchards.
In autumn, the tree bears balloon-shaped, mustard yellow fruits that often persist well into the winter months. A big hit with birds, you’ll be lucky to get your hands on too many, but if you can, then why not try your hand at a homemade crabapple jelly?
