  • Widely regarded as being amongst the very best cooking apples, this variety’s green fruits have a real bite and tartness when raw, which softens beautifully when cooked into sauces, chutneys and baked into desserts
  • This variety is named as such because it’s 20% less vigorous than ‘Bramley’s Seedling’, making it more manageable for smaller gardens, whilst at the same time still producing excellent yields of wonderful cooking apples. If you’re limited on space but want your very own fruit tree, then this is an excellent option
  • This tree isn’t self-fertile and will therefore require a pollination partner(s) – see the notes below for more details
  • These apples have a brilliant keeping period, and will store well on an apple rack (which helps provide optimal air circulation around the fruits) from November all the way through to March
  • Certified by the RHS as one of its Plants for Pollinators, the humble apple tree will help bring bees, birds and butterflies to your garden like never before!
  • M26 rootstock, max size – 3x3m
  • Our potted trees are supplied in EcoPots. Eco pots use 70% less plastic and are fully recyclable, unlike normal single use pots. They flex and so produce less root spiralling and travel better in the post
  • Our trees are usually between 18 and 36 months old at the time of dispatch
  • Our trees are professionally pruned before dispatching. This formative pruning can involve cutting the main leader, if the expert tree growers decide this will produce a better shaped tree. This can stop the tree becoming “leggy”, and promote stronger, bushier growth
