A spectacular autumn-fruiting (primocane) variety which has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its wonderful flavour, reliable crop and ease of growing.
This has been a soft fruit favourite for many years now, extending that picking season right the way into October.
The fruit ripens later and so is full of rich, aromatic flavours with an extraordinary sweetness.
Expect to harvest from late August through to October.
Plant in a sunny spot in rows, with 50cm between canes and tie into supports as they grow. Can even be planted in a large pot (40cm+ in diameter).
Primocane (autumn-fruiting) variety. Primocane varieties fruit on the current year’s growth. In February, cut back all the fruited canes to the ground. New canes will pop up during spring.
