An incredibly charming crabapple cultivar, ‘Butterball’ impresses with its gently arching branches, white blooms (which emerge from lovely pink buds) and fruits suffused with gently crackling tones of orange, yellow and red.
Perfect as a feature tree, you can harvest your crabapples (if you get to them before the birds) and use them to make a delicious crabapple jelly. Crabapples are naturally high in pectin, making them a naturally good option for jams and jellies.
