Producing beautiful, near-black fruit with a gloriously glossy sheen, this cultivar is highly-regarded and deservedly so. Its large (over 10cm) fruits boast a silky smooth texture and buttery flavour, and work perfectly in veggie lasagnes and curries.
Along with the fabulous fruits, the aubergine plant (Solanum melongena) also produces delicate purple flowers which contrast brilliantly with the plants lush green foliage.
Plant somewhere that your aubergine plant will receive lots of sunshine every day more than six hours of direct daily sunlight is preferable.
