  • Small green oval shaped leaves with masses of white flowers in summer, followed by round black berries in auutmn
  • A hardy, fast growing plant which will reach a height of approx 5m but can easily be maintained at 1-4m
  • Grows well in most conditions, except for very wet sites. Privet is also suitable for coastal locations, although you may notice some leaf fall during winter
  • Somewhat poisonous if ingested. Wear gloves and wash hands after handling
